Arkansas Covers 1865-70

After the end of the war, with the postal system returned to the USPD, mail volume in Arkansas began to expand. Many covers exist with the most common 3 cent postage, although mostly from Little Rock and a few other large towns. Covers from small towns or containing other than 3 cent adhesives are still scarce. The use of embossed envelopes expanded in this period.
